- The former of Lu gia Mechanical Electric Joint Stock Company (LUGIACO) is Lugia Mechanical Company,which is a State Own Enterprise, established in 1978. Over different names, it changed into Lugia Mechanical Electric Joint Stock Company in December 1999, under the Decision of QD 8032/QD-UB-KT dated December 28th, 1999 issued by Ho Chi Minh City People Committee .
 - LUGIACO is producing organs affiliated to Department of Communications of Public Works – Ho Chi Minh City. For many years, the LUGIACO have not only produced but also accumulated capital for renewing equipment and investing in deepway. Up to now, the LUGIACO have studied and fabricated products: the Public Lighting with 70W – 400W, the Round Cone Pole and the Octagonal Cone Pole with the length of 4m to 30m. The above products gained  4 Gold medals, 1 Silver medal at The Fair of Technical Scientific Achievement.
 - Lugiaco’s products, including Street Lighting and Public Lighting Pole, are installed for Public Lighting System of Export Processing Zones; Industrial Parks; Northern and Southern Border of My Thuan Bridge; Western, Central, Northern Provinces for domestic market and Laos, Cambodia for foreign market. 

- After over 20 years of building and developing, the State had awarded Labour Order – first, second and third class to Lugiaco and Ho Chi Minh City People Committee chose Lugiaco’ lighting product to put it into the developing program of main industrial product of Ho Chi Minh City – stage 2002-2005.
 - We, LUGIACO have established and applied the quality management system under the standard of ISO 9001 : 2000 issued by TUV Rheindand *** Berher Brandeburg Group Of Companies – Germany With Certification Registration : No 01 100 039086 dated 17th November 2003.

-   Producing and selling equipment for serving environmental hygiene. Producing and selling various pole made of steel. Designing and installing: public lighting system, traffic signal system.
-   Producing, selling and installing various traffic signal equipments, mechanical equipments, fine mechanical equipments, fine mechanics and other products under the legal law, producing and selling civil and industrial structural steel.
-   Direct import and export of materials, raw materials, finished products, equipments and machines cocerning with the function of the company producing and selling activities.
